One system, from karigar to container.
From karigar to container — enquiry, sampling, orders, time & action, procurement, production, dispatch and accounts on one set of numbers.
A handicraft order is spread across karigars, workshops, a polisher and the packing shed. Material goes out by weight and comes back by the piece, prices are set at the fair and rarely revisited, and the vessel is booked before the last piece is made.
Texma keeps every karigar’s balance, every costing version and every carton on one set of numbers, in your own words — designs instead of styles, karigars and workshops instead of sewing lines, and every carton counted into the container.
Same system. Your words.
The Problem
Spread across five karigars, a polisher and the packing shed — nobody has the whole count.
Wood, metal, glass and packing bought off separate lists, so the shortage surfaces at assembly.
Priced at the fair in February. Never costed again once the container sailed.
Material issued by weight, work returned by the piece — balanced from a notebook.
The vessel is booked; the plan lives in one merchandiser’s head.
Cartons typed into the invoice, not counted into the container.
The Answer
One system. Every stage.
From the first enquiry to the last payment received — on one set of numbers.
The Workflow
Every document is born from the one before it.
Win the order
An enquiry or a fair lead becomes a costed sample rather than a promise. Development runs to a schedule, the costing sheet is built on real material, labour and finishing per piece, and when the buyer haggles, the new price is saved as its own version rather than a number from memory.
Turn it into a plan
There are two ways in. On an export order the buyer order IS the production order, exploding into a bill of material that carries wood, metal, glass, hardware and packing alike. Selling at home, a sale order carries the invoice and a production order carries the making — linked, or standing on their own. Both reach the same cost sheet and overhead budget, so the margin you quoted is still visible when the container sails.
Defend the date
A time & action template turns the ship date into dated milestones — sample approval, material in, karigar returns, finishing, buyer inspection — each with a named owner. When one slips the system mails the person responsible that day.
Buy against the order
Wood, metal, glass, hardware and packing material are requisitioned against the bill of material. Purchase orders are authorised, arrivals are recorded at the gate, and the receipt note reconciles them before a bill is passed.
Account for every piece
Material issued to karigars and workshops, the pieces that come back, and the polishing and finishing in between are recorded as they happen. Alteration, rejection and shortage each carry their own entry, so what every karigar still holds of yours is a balance rather than a guess.
Get it out of the gate
Goods pass inspection against the order, then are packed and counted carton by carton from the packing list itself. The sale invoice comes from that same document — in India, so do the e-invoice and e-way bill — so what goes into the container matches what the buyer is billed for.
Close the books
Party bills, customer receipts and vendor payments are built from documents already in the system. The ledgers, trial balance and final accounts close on the numbers the workshop ran on.
Selling in India? E-invoice, e-way bill, GST returns and TDS are built in.

What It Is Worth
revenue on the same team
Headcount grows with complexity, not with volume.
minimum off direct costs
Material, job work and rework, recovered rather than absorbed.
of revenue kept
Direct costs run about 60% of revenue. Save a tenth of them and 6% of revenue stays with you.
